Busy with Two

We are getting into the swing of things as a family of four.  Clay has been doing projects in the backyard to prepare for the hot weather.  He extended the roof patio and added another ceiling fan.  He also cut bushes and replaced them with stones in order to have a big bar-b-que-pit.  Here is Marshall helping him move the dirt to lay the stones.

Daylon has been hanging out outside supervising the projects.

So, I was practicing some tummy time with Daylon and instead of trying to strengthen his neck muscles, he decided sucking his fingers was much easier.

"What am I supposed to be doing Mommy?"

Big Brother Marshall is showing Daylon how tummy time is done before his bath.

"This is all I am supposed to do?  Why didn't you just say so?"

"See, no problem Mommy, this is fun"

Marshall got to get together with his buddy Dylan for a play-date.  We went back to the Children's Museum since Dylan has never been there.  Daylon and Laken (Kirsten's new little girl) came along for the ride.

Here is a windmill project that Daddy and Marshall made.  He is in the process of adding his artistic touch.

We went to the annual Campbellton picnic.  I think we have been going every year since I have been dating Clay.  This was Daylon's first experience.  Hot outside and loud inside, so he was not sure what he thought of everything.  Marshall enjoyed playing the little kid games outside especially since the prizes were old McDonald's toys.
