Nurseries

Here are some pictures of Daylon's nursery.  We did a Lil' Cowboy theme and bought the bedding used from my friend Amy's sister-in-law.  The same lady made Marshall's bedding.  I would have reused Marshall's John Deere bedding, but he still has a John Deere themed room and that is too much green and yellow in my house.

Here are some pictures from Marshall's old nursery.  We were able to use all of his furniture for Daylon since Marshall got his bunk beds.

Spring Time

One day Clay wanted to take Marshall fishing, so Clay and Kevin took the boys fishing down at the Cibolo Creek.  Good thing that there was not a long drive vested because I think they enjoyed throwing rocks and running around then actually fishing.

Daddy got some sand for the sand table

Mrs. Kim was closed on Spring Break, so we had to make other arrangements with Marshall.  On Wednesday, he got to go to Blanco and have a slumber party with his cousins.  We met them at the Family Fun Center in Bulverde.  The kids had a blast and played non-stop.  Daylon once again just hung out (he is getting really good at that).

Birthday Parties

We have been busy these past Saturdays attending Addison's, Ava's and Ella's birthday parties.  Two of the parties were at the park where Marshall discovered he loves big slides.  He has never been a slide fan.  I think he had a bad experience that made him cautious of them, so he always stuck with the small ones, but I guess he decided he was big enough and ventured down them and now he can not get enough.  Here are some pics of him having some fun.

Daylon not the biggest fan of the high wind and the sun combination.

Back to Work :(

I had to go back to work at the end of February.  I chose to go back to work on a Friday since I knew I would be overwhelmed and unproductive by just doing catch up work before our close the next week.
The first full week back was an adjustment.  The boys started to take a bath together which helped, but I was trying to get too much done in not enough time and 8:00 bedtime for both was just unrealistic.  We are getting into a much better routine.  We added some sleep time for Daylon in the evening, so he can last a little longer, and the bedtimes are more like 8:00-8:30 for Marshall and 8:30-9:00 for Daylon.

Bath Time!

Hanging out on his play mat.

Daddy got some sand for his sand & water table.  We are ready for some hot weather.

Hanging out together watching Scooby Doo

After my first full week back at work, I got to enjoy my part-time schedule of having Wednesdays and Fridays off.  It is so nice.  I have to go to work for two days and then I get a break only to go back for one more day.  On Wednesday I dropped off Marshall at daycare and enjoyed a nice morning at HEB with all the retirees and Daylon.  It was so enjoyable to have a day off to get errands done and spend some time with Daylon with no distractions.  On Friday, we ventured out to the San Antonio Children's Museum and met Amy and Kerry with their kiddos.  Marshall had such a great time.  He played non-stop from 10:00 to 3:30.  Finally, I was starving so we went and ate lunch at Chick-fil-a and enjoyed a late lunch and ice cream.  It was such a great Mommy and Marshall day and Daylon was the best of sport just hanging out.

Here our some pics from the day at the museum
